Background

I am a native Belgian who grew up in the North of Belgium, close to Antwerp. We relocated the family to Kansas City as my wife has just started leading a US based research project. With this move, I am bringing in 15 years worth of experience as a master mason. I received several years of specialized training in Belgium and master the finest old-world masonry techniques.

           

Experience

I ran my own business for 7 years in Belgium and worked on mostly residential projects with state-of-the art techniques and materials. I am used to working with interior designers, architects, nation-wide represented contracting companies as well as individual customers.

 

What can I offer?

Tiling projects are my specialty including natural stone, a wide range of European ceramic tiles, mosaic, and hand-made Moroccan or Old-world patterned cement tiles. Outdoor projects include flagstone patios, natural stone patios, outdoor kitchen projects, as well as fireplaces, custom brickwork and even pizza ovens. I also have built up the know-how and expertise to create tiled walk-in shower rooms using waterproof technologies like Schlüter®-Kerdi. I hope to share my expertise and experiences with Kansas City based customers.
